what air suspension?

Post by adiablolex » Thu Jun 14, 2007 11:36 pm

Hi everyone, I'm proud owner of an A14(proper KLR color) and have been tinkering and playing dirty with it for the past 7 years. Here's a suspension question: there's a sticker on the left fork indicating not to exceed 36psi in the forks!?!, I also checked a friend's KLR(A14 MADMAX)and it has the same factory sticker. Now my other friend's A17 (NUMNUTS) doesn't have the same sticker(or any sticker). As far as the manual is concerned there should be atmospheric pressure. Is this some kind of conspiracy against green KLR's or is the Canadian weed that much better than the American?(did I mention I'm from Canada EH?)

valve shim adjustment tool

These tools were common in manufacturer supplier tools in dealerships. Others had great difficulty obtaining them. If I had one which would to the KLR, I'd be thrilled. Lady Luck smiles on you. There is a tool made by Motion Pro which does the same function on some bikes but don't think it will work on the KLR. Time to get going, work to do.
