My father had a favorite saying: "Just because there is snow on the roof doesn't mean the fire is out in the basement." Capt "Old Geezer" Bob in Durham, CT.

I,m 62 years old but every time I get on my KLR I become 30 years younger. Dose anyone else experience this phenomenon? Dennis A18 ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

When I worked at a Federal Pen in Edmonton, (now retired), I could feel the tension slide off my shoulders like a flashers raincoat once I got to the main highway, about a mile away. The other 10 miles home was just more good stuff after a rotten day. Works for me. DC denvowell@... wrote:

Every time, although not by a full 30 years. It's when I have those unplanned get-offs that I feel 30 years older. :-) -- Blake Sobiloff http://sobiloff.typepad.com/blakeblog/> San Jose, CA (USA) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

I was heading toward old geezerhood. Then I traded in my Valk for a snowmobile and a KLR A14. Now I get this very smug feeling when I see all the old geezers filling up their chrome eyed Boomer Bikes. Hypocritical? Yes, but I think the Grasshopper still gets more looks and the Valk was going to kill me anyway. Too darn fast. Oops-- Change my "rights" to "lefts" below." Coming to you from the Bizarro Universe-- James of Humboldt Reserve mods (was New Pingel Petcock) Posted by: "James Flower" jwflower53@... jwflower53 Thu May 31, 2007 11:44 am (PST) Bogdan lengthened his reserve tube, which seems a solid plan. Someone (sorry not to be able to credit him) did a mod with flexible tubing going from left bottom of tank to the petcock. This seemed unreliable to some. The Bogdan Tube still doesn't reach the fuel in the left side. How about a left side petcock, with no tube at all? -James of Humboldt [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
