radiator switch

Post by bbqman111 » Sun May 20, 2007 1:44 pm

Just wanted to see if anyone out there had a good source, besides kawasaki, for the radiator switch (part # 27010-1167 located on the bottom tank of the radiator)? From what I understand the original one opened at 202 degrees +/-, does anyone know of different models that open at a lower temp, to make the fan run more often? Thanks

does fred have them? please God tell me i overlooked it. the other stores that sell replacement doodads absolutely screw the the living hell out of me on shipping. they won't ship usps priority - which is about 11 bucks and 4 days to maui. the best those a-holes offer is ups "ground" at 34 bucks and delivery whenever the hell they feel like it - sometimes 2 weeks. i'll go another 43k miles with a slow leak before sending money to those f-ing clowns. larry

Give Fred a call or email. An item like that he probably stocks. Even if he doesn't normally stock an item he can usually get it. All you have to do is ask and with a special order item Fred can end up being faster. Walt
