crashbars/engine gaurds
I was hoping that they would work too. I have the IMS "5.5" (which
actually holds 7gal incl reserve). I talked to the guys at
Twistedthrottle.com, and they sent me a bunch of pics of the install.
Then I got in touch with SW Motech, and they said no-go.
I made a little mockup piece to replicate the upper rear mounting
point, and it's a little too tight in there with the IMS. There would
likely be shroud/tank clearance issues, and I think the bars might
even get in the way of the petcock.
I have a stock A9 and my modded A17 to compare, and it looks like
we're out of luck. I'd love to be proved wrong though. It might not be
hugely complicated to modify them.

tank bag map window
Hello all, I need to replace the clear vinyl on my Eclipse Tank Bag. Any ideas on what to use? I went to the local fabric store and they sell some nice heavy clear vinyl by the yard that looks like it would do the trick. My concern is if it will hold up in the sun as there is nothing in its description about being UV resistant. TIA
