EXPECT PERIODS OF SNOW TO PRODUCE 2 TO 5 INCHES OF ACCUMULATION TODAY WITH THE GREATEST AMOUNTS NORTH (clip) A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS. Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh getting tired of winter.... Dooden A15 Green Ape

As I write this it is 22 degrees Fahrenheit and windy in central Iowa. My bird bath froze up over night. It is probably my fault, I put my snow blower away yesterday. Oh ya, snow flurries also. Alan Henderson A13 Iowa Dooden wrote:

Yeah yeah.... you get the neeners this summer when it's 95 down there, with a dew point of 80. Oh, wait... it gets to that level here, too. Never mind. ;-) (I have to put up with this kind of teasing from my California family all winter, then listen to them complain about 110 in the summer) My snow blower is in the basement, with the oil changed and Sta-Bil in the gas tank. If it snows here in PA, which is not unheard of, all I have to do is restart it. 45 and light showers in the area. We'll get some flurries at best. My only regret today is that I can't fly VFR. Oh, and I am also at work, so there's my 2nd regret of the day. Wayne wrote:

HMmm... move to The leftcoast w/ (reported)good wx, a bizillion people, or stay in the Dakota's with not-as-good-wx and wide, open spaces? I'll wait till it warms up a tad, fire up the KLR and then drive 47 miles before I find a stop sign, let alone a stop light and contemplate the choice.... revmaaatin.

Also with all the Global warming going on the weather will be as good as California in a few years anyway. revmaaatin wrote: --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, "E.L. Green" wrote:
