harly roadblock(heads)

Post by Eric B » Wed Nov 29, 2006 11:17 am

Years ago I owned an Kawasaki LTD700. It was my experience on that bike that Harley riders would not wave back. Since purchasing my KLR, however, I've noticed it is not the Harley riders that won't wave. My experience now that it is the crotch-rocket riders, particularly those with jumpsuits and helmets that match their bikes, who won't wave back. Harley riders, by comparison, are a very friendly lot. I've often wondered "Why the change?". I thought it may be the changing demographic of the average Harley rider. Then I've also wondered if the LTD was viewed as a "Harley wannabe" while the KLR is most definitely not. Eric "The greatest threat to our world and its peace comes from those who want war, who prepare for it, and who, by holding out vague promises of future peace or by instilling fear of foreign aggression, try to make us accomplices to their plans."
