2000 klr for sale

Post by Raamses@aol.com » Thu May 25, 2000 5:53 pm

I though I'd let you guys know about this in case any newbies or friends of listers are searching for a good KLR: 2000 Kawasaki KLR 650, Only 700 miles. $4,100 negotiable, with no silly dealer fees! Completely stock condition except msr shifter, 12v outlet, trimmed-down hand levers, and black naugahide seat cover (not pictured). Dropped while off-roading (what KLR hasn't been?) but no damage except tiny scratch on rear plastic panel. Meticulously maintained and pampered. First service and valve adjustment just completed. You can see it here: http://www2.50megs.com/raamses/klrpage.htm Let me know if anyone is interested. I just put a couple of ads on some trader websites. Later, Raamses Roanoke, Virginia

Don't forget that the value of the trade-in item reduces the total sales tax due, e.g. here in Minnesota with state's 6.5% sales tax you would save $162.50 by trading in your old bike to the dealer. The trade-in price is subtracted from the new bike price and you pay sales tax only on the lower total. It's very generous of you to offer to give that away to someone on the list. You are so right about gasoline. I grew up using it to clean parts and still do in a pinch .......... but I know of a kid who's Mom works with my wife that was horribly disfigured by gasoline igniting. His Step Grampa who was drunk and cleaning parts and smoking I think (go figure). The Grampa no longer drinks and the kid ....... has an artificial ear that is velcrowed onto his head. Careful with that stuff. Criswell
