Anybody on this list have one (I am more interested in 955i
versions, 2001-2002)? I'd like to ask a few questions about
owners' experiences with the newer models. I have been
looking for a mailing list, but now hits so far. Would also
appreciate any links anybody can provide.
Thanks,
Gustavo

I rode one and was very impressed with the power this bike generates but the
suspension was even worse than the KLRs. Brake dive was frightening. Stand
over hight was also very high. I am an even six foot and felt like I was
going to high side it at every light or stop. Very powerful though and the
twin sounds hot too.

That twin should sound pretty hot, seeing how it is a triple.

PS FWIW My Sprint ST (basically identical 955cc motor) has been mechanically
perfect (for 7500 miles) and I dragged a peg with Authority this past
Thursday night, with the 3 bag luggage bolted on. No way I'm selling it for
less than $10k now.....

No way Rev.
The devil I saw wasn't holding no fiddle. Looked more like a first aid kit and possibly a pad of admittance forms. Nonetheless, all ended well other than a necessary change of underwear. I don't think the devil likes poo.

Before I could apply the brakes, the KLR started rolling backwards pretty quick. I'm not absolutely certain, but when I looked over my shoulder, I think I saw the devil !!
