A Kawasaki 4 year extended warranty is $350 on eBay. Check it out...I gave a URL a couple of days ago but don't have it now. <><><><> <><><><> Daron, Only you can really answer that question. I have it cause it came with the bike when I bought it used. It didn't cost me anything as the seller didn't even know it had it. The dealer will only touch my bike if I have a huge problem like a blown engine, busted rear shock that I want replaced or something similar that the extended warranty will cover. I do all my own maintenance so it's not worth it for me. I'd guess that it's not worth the money even if you have a monster component failure as chances are that won't happen if you do some routine maintenance and don't abuse your bike. I don't think the extended warranty covers the stuff that you'll probably have to replace or repair. May I suggest you either use that $560 to get good riding gear, bike accessories, a GPS or invest it against the day when you'll really need it. Just my 2 cents and you're getting what you paid for. As Dirty Harry said, "How lucky do you feel?" Probably don't need it if you take care of the maintenance. Don M

Take the money, buy a manual and some tools. Extended warranties are sucker money. Jim [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

rim protectors

Post by jim bush » Mon May 01, 2006 10:49 am

I have a pair given as a gift. From Dual-Star.com I think, but I haven't used them. I'm with Luke and prefer pieces cut from plastic milk jugs. Jim
