I remember when I started doing what was called Rough Scrambles back in about '59 on a 500 Triumph Twin. In the open class there were tank shift /foot clutch harley's. Some Indians and even an Ariel square 4 that use to race with us. The track was kinda like a motorcross track without the jumps but plenty of bumps. 500 Gold stars more are less ruled the 500 class and the 650 Truimph the open class.
