ural quality

Don't think BMW when you say Ural. I have owned them and they are fun, but the quality and dependability are definately not what we expect in motorcycles. Plan on spendinfga lot of time with a wrench if you go that way!! Walt

I bought a new 2005 Ural tourist I sold it with only 1,400 km on it these bikes are very crude they might get you there but cross your berries if you want it to get you back home they are a very fun bike they draw attention where ever you go great importer support it's a jane fonda work out driving one you don't ride it you drive it it's Russian iron all the way it's not a question of will the engine blow it's just when the alternator is gear driven so ear plugs are needed i blew a starter at 600 km's - I have owned many a motorsycle but the Ural is really a love / hate deal they make a great 3rd bike - t
