parts house with mods
Hello everyone this is my first post. I'm picking up
my 2005 klr650 this Sunday (10/09/05).$4000 seems like
alot of money , but it only has 750 miles with no
crashes (all stock).I was told he's selling because he
does more road riding then dirt.
Here's my question. I've been looking for this bike
for sometime it seemed like not alot of klr650 were
for sale. I found a mod parts company (TPI COMCAST
WAREHOUSE)which seems to have fair prices on parts.
Has anyone had problems with them, their rated poor on
service and fair on quality of parts.
I have $1000 to add mods before the wife has put the
breaks on. My plan is to add a brighter headlight with
flashing break lights. Add alot of guards ( I'm not as
quick as I was ). Shocks ,forks with support upgrade
and pegs. With a helmet my grand is gone. I remember
things being alot cheaper in my hodaka days. Any
comments , please advise.

Great article!
Best of all, we didn't have to look at any ugly KLR pics, too!
Just kidding -- but great article -- dual-sporting can always use some
press.
