klr not starting (lolo motorway)

Post by bfiorenza4 » Mon Jul 04, 2005 9:38 pm

I put my bike down on the left side Saturday, no real damage, but now my 05 KLR will not start if I hold the clutch in. It doesn't matter if it is in gear or not. I checked the switch on the clutch handle and it looks good. Any info would be great. If anyone is ever around the Northwestern US try the Lolo Motorway (from Northern Idaho into Western Montana) it is great and there is no one around. Thanks Matt Fiorenza 05 KLR 650 94 KLR 250

Sounds like the wires may have come off the clutch switch. Look for two wires going to a microswitch near where the clutch lever pivots. Chris Norloff ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: "bfiorenza4" Date: Tue, 05 Jul 2005 02:38:47 -0000

How did you mount the Pelicans to the Givi loops? -E
