camping with a klr250

Post by Janna Nichols » Fri Jun 17, 2005 7:39 pm

OK guys, I'm ready to step up to doing some overnight trips with my KLR250 - but where the heck do I stow all the gear? Sleeping bag, tent, sleeping pad, and food/clothing? Is the overnight camping stuff just mainly done with its bigger and roomier brother, the 650? receiver hitch carrier

Post by gm06dave » Sat Jun 18, 2005 9:04 am

Hi all, I just bought a 03 KLR 650 a couple of weeks ago. I love it and can't stay off it. Any way in about a year we are going to hit the road in our bus conversion. We will be towing a Jeep Cherokee. I am looking for a Receiver Hitch Carrier to put the KLR on while traveling. Do any of you have any experince with a certain brand? The jeep has a 500lb toung weight hitch on it. Thank you, Dave Allen
