John, I'm the guy that makes the kit. You can call me 619 261 1281, if you'd like. In the instructions, I think I recommend approx 5/16 to 3/8 stretch from the relaxed position for the spring. If the eccentric shaft came out - which is what it sounds like - you may have dropped a washer into the sump. chain cleaning and oiling

Hi, All So, how does one go about cleaning and oiling the chain? Do you need to remove the chain to do it? Does it come with an invisible removable link? If you do need to take it off, how do you do that? (My other bike, which does not have one of those nasty things, and does do awesome wheelies, and does not produce smoke, is a BMW 1150RT).
