acerbis rally pro protectors

Post by Andrus Chesley » Sat Apr 09, 2005 2:25 pm

I totally lost one of the clamps on my Hand protectors. ??????. Does anyone have a spare or one from a wrecked handguard? Other than that I guess I could just bend a piece of strap iron , drill a couple holes and use that. Fork seal started leaking finally after 16K miles on my A14. Gonna tear them down next time home to clean and install new seals n boots. Just how much use would I get from going to Cartridge emmulators on this bike. I don't drive it hard, just occasional bumps and logs and rocks at slow speeds. I have the progressive springs in there and weight about 240 geared and riding. Andy in Louisiana.

I dropped the bike going up a steep uphill right hand turn. I accidently tapped the clutch and took it out of gear. I tried to catch it but it was too far over. Down it went and so did I. It is now official, I have christened the bike and the suit. I couldn't pick the bike up as the top of the bike was facing downhill. A very nice lady in a Volvo station wagon came by and helped me get it off the ground. The Super-Sliders I put on worked great other than snapping off the end of the brake handle and scratching the right turn signal. The muffler and peg have a little asphalt on them but no damage. Not a scratch on the tank. Back at it again tomorrow. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Version: 7.0.308 / Virus Database: 266.9.5 - Release Date: 4/7/2005
