I just got my KLR a few months back and it came with a Big Gun too. Your best bet is to purchase a Silent Sport Repackig Kit directly from Big Gun. The packing is contained in a fiberglass cartridge which slips over the core with the help of a cardboard tube that you then remove. You only need to remove the end cap to do this, but you might want to remove the whole can as it is pretty simpe and eases repacking. Any guidance much appreciated.
