On the topic of "Jackass" lets put this one to bed. The previous posts have certainly been entertaining and enlighting, much of what a good newsgroup should be. There have definitely been some excellent points brought up about how much effect exhaust mods really have on performance, the effect noise pollution is having on certain areas of the U.S. and newsgroup etiquette. Apologies and downgrading to "knucklehead" accepted. As per the exhaust mods a couple of months ago I did quite a bit a research starting with this news groups as per BG pipes. The most informative was the guy that sent me a couple of webpages that were comprhensive dynotests of different jetting, air box and exhaust mods. The truth is I knew that the pipe wouldn't make that much difference. Posting my initial reactions to the new mods on the newsgroup seemed like the right thing to do, pics to follow. Is it loud...yes, Is it going to piss some people off...obviously, Do I need to be reminded that I am a "Jackass"...maybe, Am I changing back to the stock pipe anytime soon...ha ha, Kent Jorgenson Kelowna BC Canada
