new chain

Post by Eric Lewis » Fri Apr 14, 2000 11:45 pm

Hello all, It's about time for me to change chains and I'm going to replace both chainrings(sprockets?) also. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the brand and type of chain/sprockets I should change to? I do 75% street/highway and 25% off-road. Thanks, Eric A 8 P.S. Still waiting on an answer to my shifting problem(posted 4/

Any good quality x-ring chain should provide a decent service life and excellent reliability, about 10-15,000 miles with regular cleaning and frequent lubing. Three that come to mind are: DID $$$, Tsubaki $$$, RK $$ hth, MarkB
