On this 90-95 subject, Zach mentions the fact that the KLR clutch
seems to be overbuilt. It's been a few years now since I last worked
on a KLR clutch at the shop, but I seem to remember that the KLR
shared all or some of the clutch parts with the old Z1 series
900/1100 models. I may have dreamed this, but something seems
vaguely familiar about this recollection because it would have indeed
indicated that the KLR clutch is plenty beefy. I tried searching the
BuyKawasaki site for parts comparisons, but apparently the older Z
series stuff seems not to be available--at least I couldn't get any
to return on my searches. Anyone else remember anything like this?
I could swear that the KLR's clutch came from another large K bike.

a10 dohickey exchange
Hola,
Just finished the doohickey job! Mine was perfectly fine and the spring was in good condition. I have 8200 miles on my A10. The job was pretty easy and the Eagle part fit nicely. It is easy to see why the stock dohickey has had so many problems, it really is just not made well.
Adios,
Mick
