60$ to mount each tire. Does this sound reasonable? I am not sure
about the amont of labor time for the entire job. If based on
60/per hour rate for labor, does this job come close to taking 2
hours? I just need a better guestimate than I can come up with.
Thanks in advance.

That's highway robbery. Most shops (at least the ones in my area) do it for $20 a tire, less if you bring in the wheels off the bike or if you buy the tires from them. try a 160/70 17 tubeless on a cast wheel. the $20 dollars is well worth it. especially when you dont put an arrow on the rim in the direction of travel and have to redo it.> you buy the tires from them. Sounds like a hose job. If you bring the wheel in, you'd pay $15-30 around here, $20-25 the norm. If you just bring the bike in, then whatever the traffic will bear. How much money do you have? How much time? How much pride?> 60$ to mount each tire. Does this sound reasonable? I am not sure > about the amont of labor time for the entire job. 60$ per tire?
Cycle Gear offers free mounting of the tires they sell, and $5 extra to
balance. Seems pretty fair, even if they want the wheel assembly taken of
the bike by the bike owner - gee, it is so hard
