aerostitch made in the usa?

Post by carleton black » Fri Jan 30, 2004 11:34 pm

Maybe some of their catalog products are made overseas, but my wife and I were in Duluth three months ago for a walk-in fitting and the place is amazing. Not only are all the suits made there, they are made by individuals rather than on an assembly line. Andy Goldfine has an amazing company if you ask me. By-the-way, the walk-in fitting experience was great. I bought my Darien mail-order but we went together last year for custom fit Roadcrafters without the hassle. If you can find an excuse to visit Duluth, it is worth the trip...the suits are cheaper for walk-ins too! As far as their gear goes: there are a few differences between the models but it all comes down to personal compromise just like everything else in life. Put simply, the Darien is more versatile but the Roadcrafter is more protective. The words on the subject on the RiderWear site are pretty accurate and descriptive. These are people I trust and would recommend most of what they sell. Carleton Black still a KLR wannabe but not a motorcycle wannabe mailto://carleton.black@...
