speedo accuracy
I recently saw a Sigma Sport Bicycle Computer on a Honda
Transalp . This is small, self contained unit that has
the following features:
speedo up to 183/300 (mph/kph)
odometer up to 99,999 (miles/kilometers)
time 12/24 hour clock
elapsed timer up to 999.9 hours
cumulative & trip distance functions
waterproof
wheel sizes up to 50" diameter
size approx 1" x 1"
weight less than 2 oz.
price $20-$30 (USD)
The Transalp rider said that he has ridden 1000's of miles with
no problems. The only drawback that I could see is that it is
not illuminated for nite use. The Sigma units should be
available at most local bicycle shops.
Check out the features at:

This looks like a nifty alternative to having your speedometer
recalibrated at a speedo repair shop.

Here's a pic, it's HUGE. About 5' tall, literally weighs about 400lbs empty. The casters on it are very solid, with a pair of swivel/locking on it. Comes with tool mats for the drawers. http://www.panix.com/~cesser/bikestuff/big_fn_toolbox.jpg -- ___ ______ _____ __ ________ ___ / _ |< < / == / ___/__ / /_ /_ __/ / __ ____ _ ___ /__ \ / __ |/ // / ****/ (_ / _ \/ __/ / / / _ \/ // / ' \/ _ \ /__/ /_/ |_/_//_/ == \___/\___/\__/ /_/ /_//_/\_,_/_/_/_/ .__/ (_) 8600 miles*Russel Lines*Supertrapp Race* /_/ http://www.panix.com/~cesser/mybike/> I should have gone to work today, I knew it. > > Costco has a fantastic price on an outrageous two-piece mechanics tool > chest in stainless steel.
