Might also try so "SeaFoam" cleaner in the fuel, I have seen this stuff work on really bad running small motors really quick, as in watch this: generator running but really really bad, add "SeaFoam" and about as long as it too to mix with the gas and get into the carb it started running better and just got better after that.
