Has anyone mounted a 76S bike bracket to the KLR. I'd be interested to know how they did it. Brian Brian Brunelle -- This message was sent using airstreamcomm.net WebMail.

The best option is to find the correct Ram Mount and buy that. The ones Garmin sells are note worth the money. Our Price: $32.00 @ www.gpsdiscount.com (http://www.gpsdiscount.com/products/index.html?a=321) Part #: RAM-B-149Z-GA6 J. --- In DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com, "Brian Brunelle" wrote:

While Ram mounts are good I respectfully disagree that they are the best. IMHO the Touratech line carried by Cycoactive are the best mounts manufactured for use in a KLR/GPS configuration. While the less expensive Ram mounts are quite suitable, IMHO, for any other "on-road, multi cylinder" ride the physical protection, security and isolation from vibration offered by the Touratech line is tops. I used one on my KLR with a Garmin 45 for thousands of miles with no problems what so ever and will continue to use one with my new Garmin 176. I've included a link below...... http://www.cycoactive.com/gps/gps_mounts.html#065-0036 -- Cheers, Dave Watkins 1998 KLR650 "The Prodigal Son" President Abacus Technologies 1025 Fonda Court S.E. Yes, change your springs. It's easy, and productive. MrMoose A8 (Barbie and Ken special)
