Any opinions about the Russell Day-Long saddle for the KLR? I need
lumbar support and it looks like the only saddle available with a
back rest is the Day-Long. I assume the Corbin flat won't have any
more lower back support than the stock KLR seat.

I'm getting ready to do the same gearing swap. I really liked the 14- 43, but want it to be just a tad higher. Have you done the switch yet? Isn't 15-45 just a bit higher gearing than 14-43? I already put the 15 back on, and 15-43 is just to high for me, just like I remember it being. MrMoose A8 (Barbie and Ken special)> I'm fitting 15-45 gearing next (instead of 14-43).
