I never heard a GS/Beemer type offer any praise for the Tourance, in fact, the only reason any of them use the Tourance because it lasts, certainly not because it sticks well. If the Escape is rated lower than that, it doesn't sound like much of a tire. Maybe they behave much better on a lighter, lower hp bike? CA Mark

Hi guys, I traded my Tengai against an '02 F650 GS Dakar today.Sad to see the Tengai go but it was getting too long in the tooth at 62,000 to spend any more money on.The Beemer is great,it does everything I want it to but seems to lack the character of the Kawi,---that's progress I suppose.
