After dropping my bike for the fifth of sixth time playing in the Utah mountains I noticed radiator fluid "gushing" out the exhaust and the temp needle was pinging H. I quickly righted the bike and coasted (no running engine) down the mountain. After 15 minutes of coasting I turned the key and the needle stayed at C. I checked the fan (still working), so I rode home. Besides refilling the radiator should I check anything else? It is a bit unnerving to get fluid out the exhaust (Years ago I overheated an auto engine and it ended up passing a gallon of fluid straight out the back). Is radiator fluid out the bike exhaust in the "abnormal, but ok" range? Thanks, Daylan

I think the radiator overflow hose exits at the rear fender opposite the muffler. Is this wherre the fluid come from ? dumping the bike may have pulled loose the fan sensors or power. Coasting dowm mountains for 15 min with the motor not running is very very very bad.
