swingarm lateral movement ?

Post by klr6501995 » Tue Jun 24, 2003 6:01 pm

Hello listers, How much lateral movement do yall get from the swingarm ? When my bike is on the lift and I grip the swingarm next to the rear axle and other hand on the subfram and push-pull the swingarm I get maybe 1/16 - 3/16' inch movement. Kinda sloppy if you ask me. Are my needle bearings going bad ? I did lube it all at 14,000mi wich was about 3000mi ago. Reused everything.

Has anyone had more or less problems with their KLR manufactured in Thailand compared to a Japanese built bike? Exacty when did Kawasaki start building the KLR650 there?
