Hi all,
Just picked up my '03 KLR last week and you can call me Mr. Monkey-butt after 200 miles last Sunday. That said, this bike is the most fun I have had on a bike in along time! I can't wait until I get some miles on this thing and can get over the 4k RPM range.
After much research through this and other KLR groups it seems the Corbin seat may be the cure for the monkey-butt. I was wondering though if any if you have tried the Dual Star Gel seat kit? It appears to be a more cost effective way to go, but that is not always the best route (setting a stable marriage aside for a moment).
So any experience or opinions on the gel seat kit?

daul star gel seat kit?
Hey Russell. I got my 03 KLR last week also. I just have a question: Are
you observing the RPM range (4k) all the time??
When I got the bike down here (Quito - Ecuador) I was told (by the
dealer) that it was "optional" for me to attend that 4.000 RMP limit
during the first 500 miles.... is that so?

nklr ? re: boat/bike trailer
I saw a KLR right in the middle of a tri hull walk through ski boat being trailered one day. Obviously they had help getting it
in there.
