2000 klr 650 cdi readings

Post by chrisamann2000 » Sun Mar 09, 2003 12:32 pm

All readings are in spec except those shown below, would these cause a starting problem? W+ R/G 1.6k W+ BK 1.6k R+ R/G 1.6k R+ BK 1.6k all of these should be 2-10k could this be the problem? A friend has same bike, his runs and all of his same readings are high around 12k ? The coil checks out fine, I checked the primary and sec windings and a shop did the arc test for me.

70 years young? Bless you, Doug! I've been wondering how long I'll be able to hold up riding the way I do (I'm 42). You've been through 5 KLRs, and now you wanna spend all your time with a ZRX! Incredible. How many years does Elden have on this planet? My gawd, but if the KLR isn't the fountain a yute. Good luck selling your mount, Doug........although you won't need it. Sounds like a great deal for someone out there. Should be gone soon if the word gets around. See ya on the road......... The Mule
