Kris: 250 folks are certainly welcome. You do need to know that there isn't a ton of info on 250s, though. Thanks.

It is very nice to meet yawl. Is anyone ridding in the DFW area (TX)? My friend and I have KLR250's and another friend is picking up his KLR650 this weekend. We kind of bought the bikes on a whim and we are looking forward to tearing up the Dallas/FT Worth area. We also have plans to drive down to the coast soon. It would be good to meet some fellow riders in the area and plan some rides. I'm so glad I found this group! Kris Christie Arch Communications (214)849-1800 ext. 6476

Looking at: http://www.peace65.freeserve.co.uk/Pictures/future.htm the miltary KLR seems to have a different front brake, a much larger caliper. I wonder where that came from, more important, where can I get one? The article also says they have bullet proof tires. How does that work?
