'03 prices

I know when I was glancing around on www.cycletrader.com, if you don't search within a certain price range, the first few returns will always be dealers. I remember seeing several dealers around the country selling it quite a bit below 5k. Of course, they're not going to throw in tax, title, assembly fee, etc. So more than likely, if you can get your dealer to go 5k 'out the door' (except tax I suppose) you're probably doing OK.

You're right, it would seem that most (Dexron III/Mercon, Mercon V, ATF +3, I couldn't find anything for ATF +4) have a cST ~=35 @40C. The newer specs (Mercon V) appear to be heavier across the board (cST=40 @40C). Can't hurt to try, a couple quarts is what, $4? Z DC
