Hey Clint, I looked on the JCW website and that part number doesn't come up for the tavel trunk. It's on the site under a different number, are you sure the number you gave us is the right one? Thanks! -Brad

You won't find it online with that item number. The item number is exclusive to the SALE catalog. I put in an order for the item 2 weeks ago and got a note in the mail saying that it was out of stock, and did not get any sort of future ship date, which I think means I'm SOL, go figure. Hey Kids, I called about an hour ago and inquired. They said that the travel trunk, item ABX488032R in sale catalog 130J-08 for $28.98 has been "discontinued". I said that it's the same trunk as the one on their website for $54.99. The sales gal admitted that it's the same trunk, but couldn't give it to me at the $28.98 price anymore. She did call me back though and offered it at $49.99 and free shipping, so I grabbed one. My research indicates that this case is made by Emgo (part #72-32440) and is a close copy to the GIVI hard cases. The locking mechanism looks absolutely identical to the one on my borrowed E45. The case may even be interchangeable to mount on a GIVI base plate This case appears to be a great deal, even at the full $54.99 price, considering that the equivalent GIVI package would run about $160.00.
