question about circuit breakers

Post by Jennifer Blount » Sun Sep 29, 2002 2:49 pm

Just a little peice of info for ya .....harley davidson has been using automotive style cicuit breakers for decades try to mount them with the wire lugs pointing down ......this should help keep out moisture .......they are a bimetalic strip that has a spring open action when a short occurs if the cover is allowed to be in the downward position they can fill with water and cuase corrosion possibly creating a short that will be unprotected ....... --- david gay wrote:

2001 klr650 for sale - calgary ab canada - like new

Post by Robert Tremblay » Sun Sep 29, 2002 2:49 pm

Unfortunately - I am leaving Calgary and moving to Vancouver. Have to put my 2001 KLR650 on sale. It's just like new with 15,500 km of hwy mileage on it (approx. 9,000 miles). Breaks my heart but i need the $$. Still have the memories of neat trips through the Canadian Rockies and Washington State and Idaho. NEVER taken off road. No bumps no dents, no scratches, and no mods. Needs new rubber for the 2003 biking season (man those Dunlops wear fast.... 2nd set in 2 years - suggest u buy a diff brand). Always garaged. Complete maintenance history from Bow Cycle. Asking CDN $4500 including Kawasaki custom fit saddlebags, tail bag and tank bag (treated for rain) (that's an additional $350 in value).
