my back wheel, continued.

Well, I think the man made it perfectly clear that he had no desire to make any thing right. I felt no need to be impolite in calling him a liar when I felt resonably sure that he knew that I called him a liar. Like I said, he wasn't hearing any of it, and I don't think ranting will do any good. I have sent them a lot of business (plain as day since we all wear the same uniforms) and that will stop. I will tell every one who asks what happened and advise that they not patronize this shop. AS far as me doing my own work, I try, but putting in wheel bearings is more than I want to take on. I'm sure that those of you who know how to do these things, think I'm being overly cautious, but I have already had the thing fall apart in my hands once. That's enough. The Kawi guy wanted to just sell me the parts. He said that it was easy, and that I had no need to pay them for it. I'll fork over the 1/2 hour labour to keep my wheel together. The junior colledge thing thogh..... $230 for the job, so I saved $30 right there. No one wanted me to NOT replace the carrier, and that's the expensive part, $120. Can I make it throough with the old one, maybe, but....safety first. I HATE having the Killer down though. And I'm pi**ed that I can't spend the money on a sweet SR500 that is just like the one my dad had when I was a kid that's on e-bay. Just not my coouple of days. Ken 2k1 GSXR-750 198? Ken, If you like SR-500's check out Devon's sometime. I put his '81 Cafe racer on my wallpaper. It's so slick.
