doohickey/idler shaft lever installation cost

I have purchased the improved "doohickey", but I feel I might want it professionally installed. Has anyone paid a shop for installation? How much? How much are the specialized tools if I decide to tackle it myself? Thanks for any info. Tom A16 1500K miles

Another question on the same subject. How much of a job is the doohickey inspection? I dont have the replacement part yet but I want to check and make sure the thing isnt laying in pieces in there.

Guess you didn't figure out how to EDIT YOUR MEMBERSHIP.! Dang, now you can't post anymore!!! It's a nice feature to have email notification but you don't have to. You didn't have to unsub.
