solved!! help! is this a safety switch problem?

I love this list! Turns out I have a short in the wire harness that runs into the clutch safety switch. If I pull the clutch in and release, the starter is disabled until I wiggle the harness around. Seems kind of goofy. Once running, everything is fine. I will have to look into it in the shop. thanks for All your suggestions. bAlex
