tire

Has anyone got any experience with the Cheng Shin/Maxxis M6006 dual sport tires. They look like a very capable 50/50 tire and are "s" speed rated. The price, about US$70.00 delivered, is attractive for a rear tire. I know that there may be some resistance to the name which once meant a cheap tire. But I have had Cheng Shin tires in the past with no problems and have never heard of any disasters involving the brand. Whaddaya think? Thanks. Bob Kaub

Check out www.tireclearance.com Are the prices ok?? I have not had to buy new tires yet.. But I did need some advice of what kind of tires I should buy. I commute 140 miles a day to work. Freeway.. BUT, I also ride powerline trails on the weekends, and frequent the desert ( death vally desert ) I don't want a tire that will wear out quick on the road, but I want something that can handle some abuse too. Anyone have any use for a Kenda 270 5.10 X 18". This is 18" and not 17". Also have an extra Kenda 270 3.25 X 21" I don't plan on using. Both are new tires that have never been mounted. Contact me off list to discuss prices w/shipping. Andy Jennings

Oh for crying out loud! Get that thing the heck out of your truck, before you grow a beard, a beer belly, get some tats and head for Sturgis with all the other hairdressers and accountants! Just kidding about that, but for the love of Gino get that thing out of your pickup, man! Congrats on the new scoot and welcome to the gang. Make sure you pay your membership dues. Stu
