Just a quick note to all my old friends(toby, redondo, kurt, bogdan, skip, gino, fred, stux2, morgan, russ, mark, rev, jim, sarah, bill, verle, tom, conall, etc..) and those I have not yet met. I've been real quiet for real long... basically since I relinquished responsibility for running this list close to a year ago now. Life got VERY hectic and I had to go... still is... been in the middle of a tangled separation for over a year now... but I wanted to touch base again, and get a feel for how everyone, and the list, is doing. I'm coming back totally blind to the current LIST politics of the moment. I hope all is well! Still got my KLR... still got all my extremities... and still got half a brain in storage, which I'm saving for when I reach 40. Hey Arne, how's it going? You are the man responsible for moving this list to Yahoo, see message #1 for proof! You still have time to make it down to Moab this year man! Very good to hear from you, and since you're having one of those crappy separation things going, I have a joke to cheer you up. Q: What do you call that useless flap of skin around a vagina? A: A woman Cheers CA Stu wrote:

Sexist pig, how can you tell a joke like that in good conscience.

Lots of good info, what type oil to put in the engina, et cetera. Now, a young fellow comes home from school after hanging around with some bigger boys, and asks his mom, "mom, I learned two new words today, but I don't know what they mean. Can you help me?" Mom: "Of course, Jimmy, what are the words?" Boy: "Pussy, and Bitch" Mom (thinking quickly): "Well, Jimmy, Pussy is a kittycat, and bitch is a momma dog" Boy: "OK, Mom, thanks" later on jimmy's dad gets home from work, kisses mom, and goes out into the garage to put some new oil into his KLR's engina. Jimmy comes out and explains his predicament. "Dad, I asked mom about two new words I learned today, and I don't think she gave me the right answer" Dad: "Well, son, what are they?" Boy: "One is Pussy, the other is Bitch" Dad goes over to his Playboy pinup calendar on the wall, takes a felt pen, and draws a big circle around the hairy mound below the foldout's belly: "Son, everything inside that circle is Pussy". Boy: "OK, Dad, but what is Bitch?" Dad: "everything outside the circle"

Hey Arne! Welcome back! Not sure if you remember me, I joined just before you signed off, and I was pretty quiet anyway. I'm looking after the list for a bit while Toby keeps busy with DSN and Gino is busy with his new business. I think you'll find some of the folks you mentioned haven't been around, don't know if they unsubbed, or are too busy to post, but there's enough of the old crew around to keep it "interesting". I hope you find the list as good as it was, or near as good as it was. Probably a little tamer now, but still great KLR info and good fun to be had. Welcome back man!
