Boy though comparing a FJR1300 to a Connie is really a stretch. The FJR's
breaks, (fully adjustable) suspension and power are so far above the
Concourse's. And yes the Connie is enough cheaper that given the same amount
of money you can upgrade those things that leave a lot to be desired but
even if you do the Connie you will never have the same level of integrated
quality of the FJR. In my eyes even at list the 1300 is a bargain. Would I
buy a FJR if I win the lotto sure, would I buy a Connie, closer to my price
range for sure but as the front end dive on the last one I test drove was
worse then my killer I wouldn't buy unless I had the new springs for the
front end in hand. That being said the Concourse will be my 2nd choose for
my next bike if in the unlikely event that I can't find a Bandit 1200S for
sale when I have the money

PS On the Katana 1000 up until 2000 Suzuki Japan had a replica for sale a
Katana 1200 (Bandit/GSX-R mill)....what a great looking bike they both are,
the 1000 and 1200.
