indiana may 5 dual sport event cancelled

Howboucha Dual Sporters! Please forward this note to those that you think were interested in attending this event: The May 5, David Blakely Memorial Covered Bridge Challenge by Discover Indiana Riding Trails, Hoosier Trail Riders and Howboucha.com has been cancelled due to unforseen circumstances. It seems as if there was a scheduling conflict with a very large bicycle rally in Parke County, IN that would have made the event not as pleasing, and potentially a safety concern. Parke County is the "home" of covered bridges, and hosts a very large festival in the fall. The event, also known as the CBC, is a tour through many of the covered bridges, with a route that consists of dirt, sand and gravel roads. It is ideal for those that have larger Dual Sport machines, and those that enjoy riding a mildly challenging course two-up. The ride will possible be rescheduled later this season. Another planned event, the Howboucha Hundred fall rally for Dual Sport machines, and vehicles capable of going down rough, dirt and gravel roads, does not have a date set. We will be shooting for Late September or mid October. The dates for both events will be posted at Howboucha.com, or you can send an e-mail to bkearns@... to be put on a list for more information when it comes. Discover Indiana Riding Trails has hosted two non-scheduled events in the last 5 months. If you are an Indiana area Dual Sport rider, and you would like to be notified of the events, please e-mail bkearns@.... You can see an online write up about the last event through the Hoosier National Forest at http://howboucha.com/indiana_adventures.htm Keep two wheeling, Brendan Kearns Howboucha.com 2002 V-Strom 96 KLR 650 82 KL250 -and others...
