something weird is going on

I just recieved my new 14T front sproket for my A16. Comparing the 14T to the 15T I couldn't help but notice that the origional sprocket has rubber on both sides. The 14T does not. Will this be a problem? It fits fine. Also Will there be any problem with the chain rubbing against the rubber/plastic piece that lays just under the chain before it rotates around the front sprocket since the sprocket is smaller? I just took it for a spin around the block so far, but I thought I could smell hot plastic or rubber....could have been my imagination. Thanks for any advice, Jim

Something seems to be going wrong with our e-group, or else I am hallucinating. Many people have mentioned lately that their postings aren't showing up, or their mail isn't coming back to them. I've had this happen to me in the last two nights. I receive my e-group stuff in digest mode. I've missed receiving several digests. Oh, I'll catch up at the site. That is not the problem. I'm just wondering if something is going wrong with Yahoos service, or if this is actually a ploy to offer/sell some item/group to us and probably many others.
