I like it. I want one. I think it would be a blast. course I like gadgets... I like my gps and my palm and my cellphone and all those neato little gadgets that dont change my life to any great extent but are a lot of fun. kind of like my old dirt bike. My old dad with his bum knee could get around pretty derned good on that thang. I can see it now... old geezers in RV parks having races on their two wheeled wonders... lots of business/industrial applications for this little sucker, bike messengers a thng of the past... lane splittin with a Segway is the future! I imagine extreme sport competitions are just around the corner. Heck entire marching bands performing synchronized segway saxaphone symphonies! I wonder what the hop up market will be... Fred??? Seqways with knobbies? Supermotard Segway??? who knows what the future may bring. The Jetsons have arrived. Jane Jane stop this crazy thing!!!

That has been my vision of the future, except we're all still riding little motorcycles. RV Park, trailer park, senior apartments, whatever. But make sure they include some little dirtbikes and hopefully an empty lot nextdoor.

I have envisioned a community for motorcyclists in a similar vein to the aviation communities where houses have attached hangers and there is a community runway. We could all live in houses with huge attached garages where compressed air was plumbed in like any other utility and there was a shared facility with a paint booth and a bead blasting equipment. All facility and grounds maintenance would be done for you so you would have time to ride. Oh yeah, there would be a central clubhouse pub that brewed good beer and had live music on the weekends. : > --- In DSN_klr650@y..., "Larry" wrote: > I can see it now... old geezers in RV parks having races > > on their two wheeled wonders... > That has been my vision of the future, except we're all still riding > little motorcycles.
