more low end power

Post by vinnydog21@yahoo.com » Sat Nov 03, 2001 8:07 pm

My 2001 klr 650 is a little sluggish off the line. Any suggestions on improvements. I do not want to sacrifice gas mileage greatly or highway ride at interstate speeds. Also, I am 6'4" and wondering what windshield would be best and not have wind buffeting. Finally what saddlebag/guard combo would you guys recommend. Thanks!

I have the tall Rifle. I am 6'2" with a 31" inseam, so much of my height is above the waist. No buffetting. -- Marc Illsley Clarke, Kawasaki KLR650 A12, Loveland, Colorado, USA ----Original Message-----

Ohhh, ok, before I read you were taking your BMW, I thought you were crazy. My ass is begging me to get of my stock KLR seat after 150 miles, let alone 1050. Ryan Phoenix
