Can anyone give some guidence on getting a bike shipped in from another state? I found one on ebay but it is several states away. The cheap way is Forward Air. www.forwardair.com. They only serve certain cities but are cheap. Call them for a quote. The shipper will have to be "forward air friendly" and crate and drop it off at the terminal. It is a no brainer for dirt bikes but is not too good for big street bikes. Federal Allied is the easy way, have it picked up at a business, your house (more money), or ride it up to the Allied terminal. Have it dropped at any of the 3. Pay thru the nose :-) We are talking 5-700 for a big bike. Take a look in your AMA magazine for Federal Allied's ad and use your AMA discounted rate with them. Leo in Houston.
