power socket options

Does anyone know where I can get a 14T engine sprocket for the A15. I had one ordered and the F15 no longer uses the two studs to hold the sprocket in place. It uses a single nut. Thanks. You can Email direct as I am unable to get on this sight as often as I would like.

Connect directly to the battery and fuse appropriately close to the battery. This fuse protects against a short to ground in the wire between here and the cigarette lighter socket. Am assuming you are using a cigarette lighter socket as Garmin makes an off the shelf cable for that purpose. On other lists its popular to purchase a John Deere power socket and plug used to charge the battery on electric start push mowers which lack the ability to charge their own battery. About $15 for a set. But high current and weather proof. As for myself, my PC800, purchased a 10' "cigarette lighter extension cord" at an autoparts store. This has the socket inline. Measured and cut it in half. One end terminated at the battery very nicely, the other is flopping around in a fairing pocket. Used a 5A fuse under the seat in a hard place to get to but less than 6" from the battery. The Garmin power cable has another fuse of about 1-1/2A, or maybe as small as 1/4A. The closer to the battery you draw power the cleaner that power will be.
