OK folks, I haven't received a single persons actual info so I can put
together a list and contact info. I'm currently chocking this up to the Labor
Day weekend. However, if you really plan on attending the Big Bend ride,
please send me your personal info so I can add it to the list and share it
with the group for planning ride logistics.
If you are uneasy about sending me your p-info over the net, you are welcome
to call me at (512) 280-4682. The only place the info will go is our e-groups
web site so other KLR riders can plan and maybe hook up with one another. I'm
pretty sure I am positively going, I know oxymoron. I plan on roughing it. 5
gallons of water carried on the passenger seat. A cooler and food in my right
Givi bag, clothes and personal in my left Givi bag, light weight necessities
in my top Givi bag, then strapped on tarp, ground cloth, bungee cords, rope,
a nice knife, and a cell phone. Oh yeah, a Boy Scout type cook set. OOps,
almost forgot the latrine shovel.
I wrote all that to jog some folks cranial juices. We all know what to carry
for our own personal needs. I'm just trying to fire everyone up. Might be the
wrong time though. I'll bet a lot of people are out partying today. Not to
mention potential hangovers tomorrow.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Jim

Jim,
Count me in, I may get to go. In Nov around the 22 you may not need a
cooler, Can get a little cold, And then it may be 90 degrees, One never knows.
