I'll unhook the batt and kick her a few times to see what happens. Let you all know tonight. Don't start your bike with the battery disconnected. The battery acts as a buffer in your charging system. Your voltage can sore to heights that your rectifier/regulator does not like. As well you can pop lots of bulbs. If you run a bike with an A/C charging sytem you can buy battery eliminators which act as a battery would, but obviously they do not hold a charge. Don't run with the battery out of the system!
