Did anybody try the "barsnake" ? Did it work ? I added gel grips, it helped a lot but still need to feel better after 3 or 4 hours riding. Any suggestions ? thanks. Luiz / A15 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

they make something called 'anti-vibration gloves.' I use them while working with angle grinders etc. and they do wonders. I've not tried them on my KLR as I don't find the vibs overly annoying. If you're interested, then check out some safety equipment stores. Prices vary widely between types of gloves - the expensive ones are sold individually (right or left) at $90 bucks Canadian (that's about $4.95 American ;) but I bought a pair of fingerless for $40 bucks. They also make anti-vib glove inserts. Don't go overboard though, big thick gloves would make riding difficult -- I think I'd have no problem with the ones I bought and they (even being quite thin) make a hugh difference with the angle grinder. And, if your KLR vibrates more than my grinder then you got other problems ;) David... '90 since '90 Victoria, BC. Canada

Suzuki bar-end weights on my A15 (from their current DR650). Did over 700 miles in one day; no issues anymore. Vernon, what makes these better than aftermarket bar-ends, and what did they cost? I have tried two different aftermarket model, the conical ones are larger, slightly heavier, and extend into the bars further. 72/73, --Rick, KE4IZH KLR650-A14 '01 Blast Chesapeake, Va

Compared to your Wing, I suppose the KLR vibrates. I never thought of it as much of an issue, but the bar-end weights sound like an inexpensive experiment, so I'll give them a try. In May, the KLR and I did 1,652 miles in a "day" (26 hours). No issues - - other than maybe I wasn't fit to father children for a week or two. nklr - looking for a tall jersey

Jay, If your local shops don't have XXL size jerseys on sale, check out MX South: http://www.mxsouth.com/msr/msrjer01.htm They have some decent prices on closeout items. I bought a XXL jersey, I think it was an MSR jersey (can't remember, they all look the same to me), but the XXL fit well enough. I'm 6'6", 36" sleeve, 215 lbs (on the skinny side). I've bought a few items from them, they've done a good job of getting me the items on time. No other affiliation, other then a happy customer. Ed
